Integrate with MyCampaign Events
Connect the event here with an Event created in MyCampaign so that when someone registers they are tagged in MC as such.

When a volunteer signs up, invite them to follow the organization
If a volunteer signs up for an event, and they are not following the organization that owns the event, pop up a message asking them if they want to follow that organization.

Help us help you
This is an open request about if we should do this, and if so, when with what wording. Wed like to pop up a message to new users saying "Help us help you." And then explain that we can suggest events that are a good match if they tell us about themselves. The more they tell, the better the suggestions. Will this work? If so, what's the best way to frame it?

Allow option to choose type of volunteer for each shift at an event.
For example, I may need 5 volunteers at 8am, but 2 are for check-In, 2 for set-up, and 1 is a greeter. Another example, would be that I need 3 volunteers and at least 1 would need to be a candidate or elected official.

Allowed staggered times for event shifts
Please allow the host to choose the exact time of each shift so they can be staggered as needed.

Export List of volunteers/attendees
Can we download or export a list of people (name, email & cell) who signed up for an event or project? Helpful to include maybes in that list too.

Change 'phone' to 'cell phone' in sign up
Please expressly ask for a cell phone during sign up. Some of our volunteers still use landlines and don't think to give their cell number unless asked.

Change "Task: Events & Projects" to Events
At present the app has Tasks. Each Task is an Event or a Project. A Project, while it generally has a due date, is not a set time (appointment). It is created differently (not in the Calendar) and has some different attributes. This is confusing. Everyone is used to the phrase Event. While a Project will never appear in the Calendar, that is not likely to trip people up. So Volunteers are likely to be fine with everything being an Event. Proposal: Use the word Event everywhere it presently displays Task. It will have the Create/Update Project button. But Project will then be viewed as a type of Event.

Default Calendar view to Monthly view
When accessing the calendar for the first time make the default view the monthly view. It is more compact and allows the user to quickly see which days in the month have events scheduled.
